Zoë Slattery

Zoë Slattery is a contemporary enameller and jewellery artist whose work explores the luminous interplay between metal and colour. Since 2018, she has focused on the traditional art of enamelling, drawn to its complexity, unpredictability, and the vibrant possibilities it offers. Working primarily in sterling silver, Zoë uses transparent vitreous enamels layered over hand-engraved surfaces, allowing light to reflect and refract through the enamel, creating depth, movement, and brilliance.

Her practice incorporates traditional techniques such as champlevé, cloisonné, and basse taille, and is often inspired by natural forms - flowers, leaves, shells - as well as abstract patterns. Each piece is a unique exploration of colour and texture, combining technical precision with artistic spontaneity. Zoë’s work is a celebration of craftsmanship and the enduring beauty of enamel, brought to life through her meticulous and expressive approach.
