Who are ACJ Wessex?
We are a collective of passionate studio jewellers based mainly in Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset. Our mission is to promote the art of contemporary jewellery through our unique, handcrafted pieces.
Our Members
Our members are dedicated designer-makers who create exquisite jewellery in silver, gold, and other materials.
Each member has their own workshop where they design, plan, and handcraft their jewellery.
Some of our members have public studios, while others work from home and showcase their creations in galleries and exhibitions.

What is The ACJ?
The Association for Contemporary Jewellery (ACJ) is dedicated to promoting the art of contemporary jewellery, supporting jewellers' creative and professional development, and developing audiences for this dynamic field of craft and design. Founded in 1997, ACJ welcomes anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery, including makers, designers, educators, students, galleries, museum curators, retailers, critics, collectors, and enthusiasts
ACJ's activities include exhibitions, talks, workshops, and regional events. They also provide valuable resources such as the biannual Findings magazine, a monthly e-bulletin for members, and active social media channels. The association supports its members through networking opportunities, discounts on supplies, and various awards and bursaries
Contemporary jewellery is celebrated for its innovation and appeal to diverse audiences, making it one of the most exciting areas of 21st-century craft and design
