Sarah Ralph

Sarah Ralph is a Winchester-based jewellery designer and maker who creates unique jewellery that is bold, bright and colourful, inspired by nature and the built environment. Working in precious metals and glass enamel, often with recycled sterling silver and vibrant gemstones, she brings her designs to life through traditional silversmithing techniques and a playful, artistic approach.

Sarah began her journey into jewellery through beadwork and evening classes, later training in stone setting with a respected goldsmith. Since founding Sarah Ralph Designs in 2019, she has developed a distinctive style that blends elegance with individuality. Each piece is handcrafted with care and precision, reflecting her commitment to sustainability, quality, and personal expression.

At Winter Jewels 2026 Sarah is showing four collections: Anemone, inspired by her marine fish tank, with rounded arms of silver radiating from a central gemstone; Firework, an explosion of silver arms each tipped with a colourful stone; Luomu, which celebrates recycling with granules and gemstones; and her new Cathedral collection.

Inspired by the great west window of Winchester Cathedral, each Cathedral piece is a unique mosaic of colour and shape, formed from recycled sterling and fine silver with glass enamel.
