Jocelyn Tallis

Jocelyn Tallis is a Winchester-based jewellery designer and maker whose work is inspired by the natural world and ancient artefacts. Drawing on influences such as entwined creepers, rock strata, flowing water, and the dynamic forms of Bronze Age spiral torcs, she creates sculptural jewellery that explores movement, texture, and form.

Jocelyn studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at Hornsey College of Art and later completed an MA at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham. Her practice is rooted in experimentation and problem-solving, using a wide range of materials and techniques including fine and Argentium silver, 18ct gold, keum boo, stained glass, and patination. Each piece is individually designed and handmade, often as a one-off or part of a limited edition.

Her jewellery is known for its flowing lines, interlocking curves, and the interplay of light and shadow—qualities that reflect both her artistic training and her fascination with ancient craftsmanship.
