Jo Richards is the designer-maker behind Faye Benjamin Jewellery, a collection of handcrafted fine silver pieces inspired by nature, water, and the beauty of everyday surroundings. Based in Winchester, Hampshire, Jo draws creative energy from the rolling countryside, chalk streams, and the rhythms of the Dorset coast where she grew up. Her designs often reflect organic forms, feminine detail, and a romantic sensibility, resulting in jewellery that is both expressive and timeless.

Since founding Faye Benjamin Jewellery in 2015 - named after her children - Jo has created over 2,000 individual pieces, working almost exclusively with Silver Clay, a recycled material that transforms into 99.9% pure silver when fired. Her work is known for its intricate textures, flowing forms, and joyful character. Jo’s background in engineering and design, combined with her qualifications in jewellery and silversmithing, inform her meticulous craftsmanship and innovative approach.
